Written warranty coverage
Parts and Warranty Policy
Clear written coverage for eligible Audi repairs using Audi Genuine parts, with the exact term confirmed on your invoice.
Warranty on qualifying Audi repairs
Some repairs completed with Audi Genuine parts include a written workshop warranty. Where offered, our standard cover is six months or 10,000 km from handover, whichever comes first. Your invoice confirms whether the repair qualifies, what is covered and whether a repair-specific period applies.
Check your written coverage
Warranty is agreed for the individual repair. Your final invoice records the covered Audi Genuine parts and labour, the handover mileage, and the applicable time or mileage limit.
Repair types can carry different terms. Check the warranty line before collecting the vehicle and ask our team to explain anything that is unclear.
Jobs that may qualify
A warranty may be offered on a clearly defined mechanical repair or component replacement completed with a new Audi Genuine part supplied and installed by Audi Specialist Dubai. Eligibility depends on the vehicle, part, repair method, related work and the written invoice.
| Work type | Normal position |
|---|---|
| New Audi Genuine mechanical part supplied and installed by us | May qualify when the invoice expressly grants warranty and names the covered part and labour. |
| Electrical or electronic component repair | Not automatically covered. It qualifies only when the invoice expressly identifies the component, covered fault and warranty period. |
| Engine, gearbox or another specialist repair | Uses the repair-specific term written on the invoice, not an automatic general warranty. |
| Routine service, diagnosis, adjustment or wear-item work | No general warranty. Any limited product or workmanship coverage must be expressly written on the invoice. |
Even when warranty is granted, it covers only a verified defect in the invoiced part or workmanship. A similar warning, noise, leak or driving symptom does not prove that the original repair has failed.
Repair-specific terms
Engine rebuilds, gearbox rebuilds or internal repairs, brake-pad work and other specialist jobs may carry their own time, mileage, parts and labour limits. These limits can be shorter or otherwise different from the standard six-month or 10,000-km term.
The repair-specific term written on the final invoice replaces the general term for that repair. No repair-specific warranty exists merely because that type of repair is mentioned on this website.
What is not covered
Only Audi Genuine parts can qualify for an Audi Specialist Dubai workshop warranty. OEM, aftermarket, customer-supplied, used, reconditioned and scrap-yard parts carry no workshop warranty. Their performance and any repeat removal or refitting labour remain at the customer’s risk.
- Customer-supplied, used, reconditioned and scrap-yard parts.
- Routine servicing, inspections, diagnosis, fault-code clearing and adjustments unless the invoice expressly states limited coverage.
- Normal wear and consumables, including filters, fluids, refrigerant, bulbs, wipers, tyres, brake friction material, hoses and rubber items.
- Software, coding, programming, calibration and intermittent electrical or electronic faults unless the invoice expressly grants coverage for named work.
- Faults outside the repair listed on the invoice, even when the later symptom appears similar.
- Pre-existing faults, temporary repairs, incomplete repair scopes and recommended related work that the customer declined.
- Damage caused or worsened by overheating, continued driving after a warning, low oil or coolant, collision, flood, fire, contamination, wrong fuel or fluid, misuse, neglect, overloading or motorsport.
- Damage connected to tuning, modifications, non-standard software or work performed by another workshop.
- Recovery, towing, collection, delivery, vehicle hire, loss of use, loss of income and other indirect costs unless approved by us in writing before the cost is incurred.
Customer responsibilities
To keep an invoiced warranty valid, the customer must:
- keep the final paid invoice and check that the vehicle mileage and warranty details are correct;
- pay the invoice in full;
- report the concern within 48 hours of noticing it and provide the invoice number, current mileage and a clear description;
- stop driving when a warning, overheating, fluid loss, heavy noise, smoke, severe vibration or brake concern could cause further damage;
- make the vehicle available at our Al Quoz workshop within seven days of reporting the concern, or on another date agreed by us in writing;
- allow Audi Specialist Dubai the first reasonable opportunity to inspect the claimed fault;
- not clear fault codes, dismantle the repaired area, replace parts or authorise another workshop to work on the claimed fault before our inspection, except where immediate action is required for safety;
- follow the maintenance, running-in, fluid, operating and follow-up instructions written on the invoice;
- disclose tuning, coding, modifications, accident damage, overheating and any work carried out after our repair; and
- avoid any action that causes further damage after the fault becomes apparent.
A claim may be refused when a failure to meet these responsibilities causes or worsens the damage, removes evidence or prevents a reliable inspection.
Making a claim
