Technician carrying out an Audi oil service

Which Audi service do you need?

Minor service covers engine oil, the oil filter and basic checks. Choose interval service when air and cabin filters are also due. A major service adds applicable spark-plug and gearbox-fluid work after we check the schedule and previous replacements.

Tell us your Audi model and whether a service reminder is showing. We help you choose the due work without repeating recently completed maintenance. A separate warning, leak or driving problem may need diagnosis, which we quote separately.

Routine care

Minor service

  • Engine oil to the correct approval and required quantity.
  • Correct oil filter and standard replacement labor.
  • Basic fluid-level, leak, brake and tire checks.
  • Service reminder reset after the relevant work and a record of completed items.

For an oil service that is due when other scheduled items are still current.

Filters also due

Interval service

  • All listed minor-service work.
  • Engine air-filter replacement.
  • Cabin-filter replacement.
  • Inspection findings explained before extra work is added.

For cars that need oil and filter maintenance plus the two additional filters. Recently replaced filters should be checked before repeating the work.

More scheduled work

Major service

  • All listed interval-service work.
  • Applicable spark plugs.
  • Gearbox-fluid service where required for the fitted transmission.
  • The parts and fluid specification listed on your quote.

For due longer-interval items. If the transmission does not require the listed work, we revise the package instead of charging for it.

Prepare your WhatsApp message

Choose a service below or describe your concern. The form prepares a WhatsApp message for you to review and send.

Quick starting point
Plain words are enough. You can send a dashboard photo after WhatsApp opens.

Only the values you enter are added to the WhatsApp message. Empty optional fields are omitted.

Before the workshop visit

What to bring to your Audi service

Bring any service records you already have and tell us about warnings, leaks or recent work. Missing records do not prevent booking. We check the car and explain which maintenance is due.

Your service request

Tell us what you need

Say what the dashboard shows, whether a routine service is due and whether anything has changed in how the Audi starts, drives, brakes, cools or sounds. If the message appeared recently, note roughly when. A dashboard photo is helpful when the wording or symbol is hard to describe.

The model and current mileage are useful if they are easy to find. Neither should block the first WhatsApp message. “Q5, service due, no other warning” is enough context for the workshop to ask the next useful question.

Helpful if available

Previous service records

An invoice or service entry can show the date, mileage, oil specification and parts already replaced. It helps us avoid charging for work that is still current. If the history is incomplete, we inspect the relevant items and explain what can be verified before recommending replacements.

Also mention recent battery replacement, cooling work, oil leaks, repeated top-ups or warning-light investigation. That context can keep routine maintenance from being mixed with an unresolved fault.

Confirmed later

We check the specifications

The exact engine, transmission, market specification, parts fitment and service schedule may require the registration, VIN or a direct vehicle check. These details matter when they change the part, fluid or procedure. Where the engine uses a belt, the timing-belt interval and kit scope must be verified against the actual vehicle rather than assumed from the model badge. We can check these details after you contact us.

Once the vehicle arrives, the workshop can compare the supplied history with the service display and physical condition. The result should be a clear proposed scope, not an automatic package based only on mileage.

Your service schedule

When should you service your Audi?

The maintenance scope depends on vehicle specification, elapsed time, mileage, service history, how the car is used and what the current inspection finds. The applicable schedule is confirmed from the vehicle data and recorded work.

  1. 01

    Vehicle details

Model, engine, transmission and market specification help identify the correct parts and fluid requirements. VIN confirmation can happen later when necessary.

  2. 02

    Mileage and time

Both can matter. The service display, recorded mileage and elapsed time provide a starting point, but they do not replace the vehicle schedule.

  3. 03

    Service history

Invoices, job cards or the owner’s records show what was actually completed, which specification was used and what remains uncertain.

  4. 04

    Dubai use

Heat, dust, congestion and repeated short trips can affect what deserves closer inspection. They do not create one fixed interval for every car.

  5. 05

    Physical checks

Fluid levels, leaks, filters, brakes, tires, battery condition and visible wear can change the work that is sensible today.

  6. 06

    Agreed plan

The workshop separates due maintenance from optional work and separate faults, then seeks approval before adding work beyond the agreed service.

Audi’s own service guidance is vehicle-specific. Official service tools ask for the VIN or the model year, model and trim before returning schedule information. The correct interval comes from the identified vehicle and its service record, not one mileage rule applied to every Audi.

For an imported car or incomplete history, we compare the service display with the vehicle specification and available invoices. If the display was reset without the work being recorded, we explain what needs checking. We do not assume that every fluid or filter is overdue simply because an invoice is missing.

Record the full warning wording, its color and the conditions in which it appeared before any code or message is cleared.

Reminder, warning or new behavior

Service reminder or warning light?

The dashboard can show that maintenance is due, report a fault or warn about a condition that needs prompt attention. These are not the same conversation. Photograph the complete display where possible and describe any change that occurred at the same time.

Routine reminder

A service-due or oil-service message without another warning or driveability change usually begins with schedule and history confirmation. The exact work still depends on the vehicle.

Warning without a clear symptom

Record the wording, color and when it appeared. Do not clear the message merely to make the display look normal. Stored context may help the workshop decide whether maintenance or diagnosis should come first.

Warning with a change

Loss of power, overheating, strong braking change, oil-pressure message, heavy vibration, major leak or unusual mechanical noise should be described immediately. The workshop may advise a different next step from an ordinary service booking.

No dashboard message

A noise, smell, leak, slow start or change in temperature can still be useful evidence. Explain when it happens, whether it is repeatable and what makes it better or worse.

A reminder reset is not a diagnostic test. Clearing a warning does not establish its cause, and a routine service checklist should not be used to guess one.

Physical checks

What we inspect during Audi maintenance

Before parts are selected

Confirm the vehicle and the due work

The model name alone may not confirm the engine, filter, plug or fluid specification. The workshop can begin from the owner’s description, then verify the vehicle identity and available history before ordering parts or committing to a fixed scope.

What can change the plan

See the reason for an extra repair

If we find a leak, low fluid level, damaged filter, weak battery or worn brakes, we explain the finding and its urgency. Where a measurement matters, we show the reading. You receive a separate price for additional work and decide whether to proceed.

What is recorded

Separate due work from a separate fault

The record should state what was requested, what was checked, what was completed and what was not. If maintenance reveals an unrelated warning, noise or leak, the next step may be diagnosis rather than automatically replacing another part.

Inspection notes distinguish an urgent repair from an item that can be monitored. For example, a filter checked and found clean can stay in use, while a brake measurement may show that replacement is due. This helps you spend on the work the car actually needs.

If the checks do not identify the cause, the job card names the next test instead of recommending parts.

Fluids, filters and wear items

Oil, filters, fluids and wear items

We explain which consumables are due, which remain serviceable and which need a separate quote. Parts and fluids must match the engine or system, even when two cars carry the same Audi badge.

Oil and filter

Confirm the engine and required specification, then check when the last service was completed and what the dashboard is reporting.

Air and cabin filters

Service history and visible condition matter. Dust exposure can justify closer inspection without inventing a universal Dubai replacement date.

Plugs and fluids

Engine type, age, mileage and recorded replacements shape the decision. Do not assume every Audi uses the same interval or consumable.

Brakes, tires and battery

These are assessed by condition, measurement and use. A routine service can identify concern, while separate repair approval remains a distinct decision.

Dubai operating conditions

Audi maintenance in Dubai heat and traffic

Dubai heat, dust, traffic and repeated short trips make filter condition, battery health and cooling performance especially relevant during inspection. We use the applicable Audi schedule alongside these checks rather than applying one replacement interval to every car.

What an owner can report

  • How often the car is used for short journeys or long periods in traffic.
  • Whether the service or oil reminder is showing and when it appeared.
  • Any slower starting, new smell, visible leak, temperature change or reduced air-conditioning performance.
  • Whether the car has been parked for an extended period or used in noticeably dusty conditions.

What needs workshop confirmation

  • The correct vehicle schedule and the parts or fluid specification for that configuration.
  • Filter condition, fluid level and signs of contamination or leakage.
  • Battery condition, charging behavior and whether slow starting has another cause.
  • Whether a warning belongs to routine maintenance or requires targeted fault finding.

For owners, the practical preparation is simple. Share the reminder, mileage if known, recent journey pattern and any change in starting, temperature, smell, leakage or air-conditioning performance. The workshop can then decide which checks belong to maintenance and which need a separate investigation. When pressure and leak checks support a recharge, the Audi AC regas page explains the refrigerant service.

Parking duration and repeated stop-start use can be relevant too. A car that covers few kilometers may still need decisions based on elapsed time, battery state and fluid history. Conversely, a high-mileage car with complete records should not receive a generic “Dubai package” that ignores what has already been done. Usage context refines the vehicle schedule; it does not replace it.

Audi Dubai parts guidance discusses UAE dust and high temperatures, while Audi service-regime guidance identifies journey type, ambient temperature and short trips as service-planning factors.

Your service record lists the work completed, inspection findings and any recommended follow-up.

Reset and documentation

Your service record and reminder reset

Completing the approved work, resetting the relevant reminder and documenting what was done are separate tasks. The reminder should reflect the work that was actually completed. The job record should identify the agreed scope, parts and fluid specification where relevant, inspection findings and any follow-up that remains.

You receive an invoice or job record for the approved work, including relevant parts and fluid details. Keep it with earlier service documents so future recommendations can be checked against completed maintenance. If you need an entry in a manufacturer-linked digital record, ask about availability for your car before booking; an independent invoice does not automatically update that system.

At collection, we explain what was replaced, what was checked and what can wait. If a recommended repair was not approved, the record should identify the concern and next check. A service reminder reset follows the work completed; it does not erase an unresolved fault or mean that every item discussed was replaced.

Plan your service spending

Annual Audi maintenance budgeting

Start with the services due during the year, then allow separately for wear items and repairs. The AED 350 offer is a minor-service starting price, not an all-inclusive annual maintenance plan.

Typical job estimate for a 2019 Audi A3

If one minor service is due and no additional work is required, budget from AED 350 before VAT, or AED 367.50 including VAT. Two such visits total from AED 735 including VAT. The service schedule and mileage determine the number of visits; this is not a recommendation to service every car twice a year.

Oil and the oil filter, standard labor and basic checks are included. Filters beyond the oil filter, spark plugs, transmission work and repairs add to the total only when due and approved.

Typical job estimate for a 2018 Audi A4

For a common four-cylinder A4 due for the listed major service, the starting amount is AED 2,450 before VAT, or AED 2,572.50 including VAT. It includes the listed filters, applicable spark plugs and gearbox-fluid work when required for that transmission. Brake fluid, coolant and wear repairs remain separate unless included on the quote.

A car driven 7,000 km per year still needs time-based maintenance. A car already over 100,000 km needs its replacement history checked, especially longer-interval work. Odometer mileage alone does not mean every item needs replacing.

Use your last invoice to list what is due next and avoid budgeting for recently completed work twice. For model-specific planning, see Audi A3 maintenance costs or compare the full Audi service price guide.

What affects service cost

What can change your maintenance price?

The starting prices above cover the listed packages. Your engine, oil capacity, parts choice and due items determine the final quote. If inspection finds a repair outside the package, we explain its cost separately before you approve it.

01Vehicle configuration

Engine, transmission, model specification and access can change the parts, fluids and labor involved.

02Confirmed service scope

Oil service, inspection and additional scheduled items should be priced from what is actually due.

03Parts and fluid choice

Fitment and specification come first. We explain suitable part options and their prices before ordering.

04Present condition

Leaks, damaged components or overdue work can change the plan, but they should not be added without explanation and approval.

05Separate investigation

A warning light, noise or intermittent fault may require diagnosis outside the routine maintenance estimate.

Before approval

What a clear estimate shows

Your estimate should separate scheduled work, inspection findings and fault diagnosis. It should name the vehicle basis, included parts and fluids, exclusions and any provisional items. Additional work starts only after the finding, revised price and approval are recorded.

A clear estimate lets you see what is due now, what was found during inspection and what still needs a separate decision.

01

Your Audi details

Model and configuration, mileage where available, relevant service history and the request or reminder that started the visit.

02

Included service

The scheduled work being approved, with the relevant parts, filters, fluids, labor and closing service actions named clearly.

03

Findings and exclusions

Inspection findings that changed the recommendation, plus work that is not included and any item that still requires diagnosis or confirmation.

04

Total and approval

The complete approved amount, any provisional item or stock dependency, and the point at which additional work must return to you for approval.

If maintenance finds another fault

If your service reveals a fault

An inspection can reveal a concern. It does not automatically prove the failed part or authorize repair.

Audi diagnostics

Use targeted testing when a warning, intermittent behavior or system fault needs a cause, not just a cleared code.

Brake concern

Noise, vibration, pulling or a measured wear issue should be assessed as its own safety and repair decision.

Cooling or fluid loss

A temperature change, repeated low level or visible leak needs the source confirmed before a repair is recommended.

Electrical or battery concern

Slow starting, discharge or warning messages may need battery and charging tests rather than a routine replacement assumption.

Suspension or vibration

Tyre condition, wheel issues, bushes, joints and other causes need inspection in the context of when the symptom occurs.

A red warning, oil-pressure message, overheating, a strong braking change or major fluid loss should not be treated as an ordinary service reminder. Stop when safe and contact the workshop for guidance.

Maintenance questions

Audi maintenance questions

Which Audi models start at AED 350?

A1, A2, A3 and A4 minor service starts at AED 350 before VAT, or AED 367.50 including VAT. It covers the listed oil-and-filter work and basic checks. Other models, performance versions and larger packages have separate prices.

How long will my Audi service take?

We confirm the expected duration when booking the selected package. A minor service and a major service with gearbox maintenance require different amounts of work. Parts availability, existing faults and approved extra repairs can change collection time. Ask about pickup arrangements when requesting your appointment.

How do I know what service my Audi needs?

Start with the service display, mileage, time since the previous service and any records you have. The workshop then confirms the vehicle configuration and checks its current condition. Confirm the exact Audi schedule from the vehicle specification and service record.

Do I need my VIN before I contact the workshop?

No. Tell the workshop the model if you know it and describe the reminder or change you noticed. The VIN may be requested later when the exact configuration affects a schedule, part or fluid choice.

What is the difference between a minor and major Audi service?

They are workshop descriptions for a narrower routine service and a broader scheduled review. The exact content still depends on the vehicle, service history, mileage, time and condition. The word “major” should not be used to add items without checking whether they are due.

Can I send a dashboard or service-reminder photo on WhatsApp?

Yes. Open WhatsApp with the request form near the top of this page, then attach a clear photo. Include the full message and any symbols visible. A photo supplies context, but it may not identify the cause of a separate warning.

What happens if the service is overdue?

Tell the workshop what the display shows, the current mileage and anything you know about the previous service. The next plan should be based on the exact schedule and vehicle condition. Do not assume that every overdue car needs the same list of replacement items. If there is also a red warning, oil-pressure message, overheating, major leak, braking change or strong mechanical noise, say so immediately because the next step may be different from a routine booking.

Does resetting the service reminder mean the service was completed?

No. A reset changes the reminder display. The completed work still needs to match the approved scope and should be documented on the invoice or job card, including relevant parts or fluid specifications and any advised follow-up.

What records should I keep after an Audi service?

Keep the invoice or job card, the mileage, date, approved work, parts or fluid specification where relevant, and any inspection advice. A reminder reset is useful, but the written record is what shows the next workshop which work was actually completed. Store clear copies of older documents too. A continuous record helps distinguish a genuinely due item from one that was replaced recently but never entered into the information available at the next visit.

What happens if a separate fault is found during maintenance?

The finding should be explained separately from routine service. When the cause is not clear, run targeted diagnostics before approving any related parts. The maintenance visit does not by itself authorize unrelated repair work.
