What your Audi oil and filter service includes
The right oil and filter
We check the engine’s required oil approval, viscosity, quantity and filter fitment. The old oil is drained or extracted using the appropriate procedure, and the filter is replaced with the required sealing parts.
Inspection and level check
Accessible service areas are checked for leakage, damaged fixings or other visible concerns. We fill to the correct quantity and verify the final level using the procedure for that car, including the required operating conditions.
Reset and service record
The relevant oil-service reminder is reset after the work. We record the completed service and explain any separate findings. A reset for unrelated inspection work is not included unless that work has been completed.
Oil-leak repairs, damaged housings or drain threads, additional filters, spark plugs, gearbox oil and other maintenance are separate. Detailed fault diagnosis is also separate from the free workshop inspection. Any added work needs your approval before it starts.
Which engine oil does your Audi need?
The manufacturer approval matters alongside viscosity. Two oils labeled with the same grade can meet different standards, so the number on the front of the bottle is not enough to choose the correct product.
We check your engine and applicable service information, then select an oil that meets its requirements. Petrol, diesel, performance and plug-in hybrid engines can use different products. A familiar A4 or Q5 badge can also cover several engines and generations.
You do not have to research oil codes before booking. Start with the model and service request. We can ask for the year or vehicle details when needed to confirm the application.
The same care applies to the filter. Genuine Audi parts are normally used, with suitable OEM or aftermarket alternatives available for discussion on request. The invoice should make the selected oil and filter clear rather than describe every option simply as “original.”
Oil change, minor service or major service?
Choose the work your car needs now. An oil and filter visit handles a specific maintenance requirement; it does not replace every other scheduled item or a repair for an existing fault.
Oil and filter service
Suitable when the oil service is due and the Audi otherwise runs normally. Our listed minor-service package adds the basic inspection and oil-service reset. This is the starting option for routine oil maintenance.
Wider scheduled maintenance
Air and cabin filters, plugs, brake fluid or transmission servicing may be due at different times. We compare the schedule with the work already recorded and quote the additional items that are actually required.
Oil-related fault repair
Repeated top-ups, a visible leak, blue smoke, pressure warnings or abnormal engine noise need the cause checked. An oil change may form part of the eventual repair, but it should not be sold as a guaranteed cure.
If another workshop has recommended a large package, send the list. We can explain which items are routine service, which depend on wear and which need diagnosis. That makes it easier to compare the complete price.
How we carry out your Audi oil change
Check the car and service due
We note the mileage, read the reminder and check for any warning, leak or recent oil-loss concern. The correct oil and filter are selected before the old oil is removed. Existing damage that affects the job is discussed first.
Replace the oil and filter
The vehicle is safely positioned and the necessary access covers are handled carefully. Draining or extraction follows the application. The filter, seals and service points are fitted correctly, with damaged parts treated as a separate repair.
Verify the level and finish
We check the filled level, inspect the serviced areas for leakage and refit the undertray where removed. The oil-service reminder is handled, and the completed work and any follow-up recommendation are explained.
An electronic level display may require particular temperature and operating conditions before giving a valid reading. We follow the correct check rather than assuming that one container or one cold display reading proves the amount is right. Overfilling is not a useful way to allow for future consumption.
When should you change Audi engine oil?
Use the schedule for your exact engine, market and service regime, together with the service reminder and recorded history. Time and mileage both matter. A schedule quoted for a different country or engine should not automatically become the interval for your Audi.
Low mileage and short trips
A car covering only a few thousand kilometers each year can still become due by time. Repeated short trips, idling and long parking periods are useful details when reviewing the service plan. Low mileage alone is not a reason to ignore the time requirement.
High mileage and daily driving
A heavily used Audi reaches mileage-based service points sooner. We review the distance covered, service history and any changes in oil use or running quality. High mileage alone does not prove that the engine needs a different oil or an overhaul.
Dubai heat and traffic are reasons to pay attention to the car’s maintenance and condition. They do not make one universal interval correct for every engine. We help establish the next service from the applicable information and the way you use the car.
Oil leaks, top-ups and dashboard warnings
A service reminder, oil-level message and pressure warning mean different things. A routine reminder can lead to an oil-change appointment. A level message requires the exact instruction and current level to be checked before adding oil.
For a red oil-pressure warning or heavy engine noise, stop safely, switch off and call for assistance. Do not keep driving to an oil-change appointment or restart repeatedly to see whether the message clears.
Visible leakage, smoke, a burning-oil smell or increasing top-ups need a separate assessment. We inspect the source and explain whether a seal, housing, breather or further engine testing is needed. Fresh oil cannot repair a leaking component.

Oil service when the Audi’s history is unclear
If you have recently bought the car, a reset display or verbal promise does not establish what oil and filter were fitted. An invoice identifying the vehicle, date, mileage and work is more useful. Share any records you have; missing paperwork does not prevent booking.
A documented oil and filter service can provide a clear starting point when the history cannot be confirmed and the car is suitable for routine maintenance. It does not certify the condition of the engine or replace other overdue service items.
When to book the service
The car runs normally, there is no pressure warning or abnormal noise, and the last oil service is unknown or overdue. We can select the correct materials and establish a record you can keep for the next visit.
When to inspect first
There is a warning, rapid oil loss, smoke, a significant leak or unexplained noise. Tell us at first contact so the visit addresses the cause instead of hiding the complaint inside a routine oil-service booking.

What to keep after your oil service
Keep the itemized invoice with the date and mileage. It should identify the oil and filter work, the service reminder handled and any separate observations. This helps you compare later recommendations and avoids paying again for recently completed maintenance.
If a reminder returns unexpectedly, send the exact message rather than assuming the oil was not changed. Some vehicles separate oil-service and inspection reminders. The workshop can check the message against the work completed and the remaining schedule.
Report an unexpected leak, level change or warning after collection. Do not add repeated amounts without checking the current level, and do not use a dashboard reset to silence a pressure warning. A returning symptom needs assessment, even if routine maintenance has just been completed.
Oil service for different Audi engines
A and Q models
An A3, A4, A6 or Q5 name can cover different engine families and oil quantities. We match the service to the installed engine, including imported specifications. A quattro badge does not make engine oil service a gearbox or coupling-fluid service; those are separate systems with their own requirements.
S, RS and larger engines
Performance and larger-capacity engines can change the oil quantity, filter, access and cost. We quote the actual application rather than applying the lowest advertised package to every Audi. Any unusual access or damaged service hardware is explained before extra work is approved.
Hybrid and fully electric
A plug-in hybrid still needs combustion-engine servicing even when many journeys are made using electric power. A fully electric Audi has no engine-oil service requirement. We identify the powertrain so you are booking relevant maintenance and are not paying for a petrol package the car does not need.

Can you reset the oil-service reminder?
Yes, after the oil and filter work and final level check. A separate inspection reminder is handled only when the corresponding inspection has been completed. Your invoice records the service performed.
Will fresh oil fix a pressure warning or oil consumption?
An oil change alone cannot be promised to fix either problem. A pressure warning, heavy engine noise, rapid oil loss or repeated top-ups needs assessment of the cause. Stop safely and switch off for a red oil-pressure warning.
Do plug-in hybrids and e-tron models need oil changes?
A plug-in hybrid has a combustion engine and still requires the specified engine service. A fully electric Audi has no combustion-engine oil to replace. We identify the powertrain and quote the appropriate maintenance.
What do I need to send to book?
